Gently Embracing Toji’s Digestion and Emotions
I want to gently care for my 9-year-old rabbit Toji’s digestive issues and warmly embrace her emotional world as well. Toji is a 9-year-old rabbit this year. She had uterine surgery last year, and lately she often struggles with digestion—frequently experiencing gas buildup that prevents her from eating properly. Lately, I’ve become even more attentive to her emotional side. Toji came to our home at the age of one from a pet store. My daughter and husband brought her home, but since I was against the adoption at the time, I wasn’t in a position to give her love in the beginning—I was simply taking care of her.
